Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 May 2026
These Terms of Use govern your purchase and use of Liquid Radius. They are written in plain English, kept as short as possible, and structured to be easy to scan. Please read them before purchasing.
1. Agreement
By installing, activating, or using Liquid Radius, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install Liquid Radius and request a refund within 14 days of purchase under section 7.
2. Licence grant
When you purchase Liquid Radius we grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install and use Liquid Radius on Macs that you personally own or are the primary user of, for as long as your licence remains active. One purchase covers every Mac you personally use.
This licence is for personal use. If you are an organisation, school, or business and want to deploy Liquid Radius across multiple users, contact [email protected] for volume licensing.
3. Licence restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, sub-licence, lease, lend, sell, or otherwise transfer Liquid Radius or your licence key.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the bundled binaries, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
- Modify Liquid Radius or create derivative works based on it.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
- Use Liquid Radius in any way that violates applicable law, including export-control laws.
- Use Liquid Radius on Macs that you do not personally own or are not the primary user of, including by sharing your licence key.
4. Licence keys and revocation
Your licence key is unique to you and tied to your purchase. We may deactivate licence keys that:
- Are associated with refunded, charged-back, or fraudulently-obtained purchases.
- Are shared, leaked, resold, or used in ways that violate these Terms.
If your licence is deactivated, the Liquid Radius app reverts to its unlicensed state on the next launch and the key no longer activates Liquid Radius on any Mac. The app re-checks every key periodically through Lemon Squeezy.
5. System requirements and your acknowledgments
Liquid Radius requires macOS Tahoe 26.0 or later. To run, the following changes must be made to your Mac:
- System Integrity Protection (SIP) must be disabled.
- The AMFI bypass boot-argument
-amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1must be set in your Mac's NVRAM.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Disabling SIP and adding the AMFI flag relax two of macOS's code-integrity protections, reducing certain layers of system security.
- Liquid Radius modifies how macOS draws window corners by loading code into running applications. This is intentional and necessary for the app's function.
- Some applications may not be fully compatible with Liquid Radius. The compatibility list at liquidradius.com/compatibility is non-exhaustive and may change without notice.
- You are responsible for understanding what disabling SIP and setting the AMFI flag means on your Mac, and for the operation of any other software you have installed.
- You install Liquid Radius and make these changes to your Mac at your own risk. You can re-enable SIP and remove the AMFI flag at any time; the steps are documented at liquidradius.com/support.
6. Future macOS updates and compatibility
Apple regularly releases updates to macOS, including minor security updates, point releases, and major version upgrades. We make reasonable efforts to test and update Liquid Radius for new macOS releases, but we do not guarantee:
- That Liquid Radius will continue to function on future macOS versions, point releases, or security updates.
- That an update from Apple will not introduce incompatibilities, break Liquid Radius temporarily or permanently, or affect the apps Liquid Radius operates alongside.
- That a fix for any macOS-induced incompatibility will be available within any specific timeframe, or at all.
- That changes to Apple's code-signing, code-integrity, or other security frameworks will not render Liquid Radius unable to operate.
If a macOS update breaks Liquid Radius and a compatible version is not available within a reasonable time, your remedy is to uninstall Liquid Radius and revert your security settings (re-enable SIP and remove the AMFI flag, as documented at liquidradius.com/support). We are not liable for the loss of the corner-radius customisation, for any time spent troubleshooting, or for any indirect consequences of an Apple update.
7. Backups and your responsibility for your Mac
You are responsible for maintaining regular backups of any data on your Mac, using Time Machine or another backup tool. We are not liable for any data loss or corruption, regardless of cause, that you could reasonably have prevented through routine backups.
You are also responsible for the configuration and stability of your Mac more broadly, including any other software you have installed. Liquid Radius is one component in a complex system; we cannot diagnose or fix problems unrelated to Liquid Radius itself.
8. Updates and discontinuation
Your purchase includes free updates to the same major version of Liquid Radius, delivered through the Sparkle update framework. We may release future major versions for which a separate purchase or upgrade fee may be required; if so, your existing licence will continue to work for the major version it was purchased for. We do not silently push updates that change these Terms or the security trade-offs without notice.
We may discontinue Liquid Radius at any time, in our sole discretion. If we do, we will continue to honour active licences in their then-current state for as long as the licence-validation infrastructure remains operational. Updates and new features may stop. We are not obliged to provide refunds for previously-purchased licences if we discontinue Liquid Radius, except where required by applicable consumer law.
9. Refunds
Every purchase comes with a 14-day refund, processed through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number. We will process the refund without requiring a reason.
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this refund window operates alongside any statutory cancellation rights you may have for digital content.
When a refund is issued, your licence key is automatically deactivated as described in section 4.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
LIQUID RADIUS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ARISING FROM A COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- LIQUID RADIUS WILL OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR ON A PARTICULAR SCHEDULE.
- LIQUID RADIUS WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH ANY SPECIFIC APPLICATION, HARDWARE CONFIGURATION, OR FUTURE VERSION OF macOS.
- ANY DEFECT, INCOMPATIBILITY, OR ISSUE INTRODUCED BY AN APPLE UPDATE WILL BE FIXED, OR FIXED WITHIN ANY PARTICULAR TIMEFRAME.
- YOUR DATA, FILES, OR SETTINGS WILL NOT BE LOST OR CORRUPTED, IN LIQUID RADIUS, IN APPS RUNNING ALONGSIDE LIQUID RADIUS, OR ELSEWHERE ON YOUR MAC.
- YOUR MAC WILL NOT EXPERIENCE INSTABILITY, KERNEL PANICS, BOOT FAILURES, OR OTHER ISSUES, WHETHER OR NOT COINCIDENT WITH LIQUID RADIUS USE.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE DEVELOPER OF LIQUID RADIUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF LIQUID RADIUS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities.
- Lost, corrupted, or unrecoverable data, files, or work product (including unsaved work in any application).
- System instability, kernel panics, boot failures, or any need to reinstall macOS.
- Hardware failures, whether or not coincident with the use of Liquid Radius.
- Application incompatibility, including any third-party application crashing, freezing, or behaving unexpectedly while Liquid Radius is installed.
- Damages arising from changes to macOS, including future Apple security or system updates that conflict with Liquid Radius.
- Loss of access to Liquid Radius or your licence due to discontinuation of the app or unavailability of our payment processor's services.
- Time spent troubleshooting, restoring backups, or recovering data.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF LIQUID RADIUS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR LICENCE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
12. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms when the failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, civil unrest, government action, network or hosting-provider outages, payment-processor outages, supply-chain disruption, pandemics, or actions taken by Apple Inc. that affect macOS or its security frameworks.
13. Third-party software
Liquid Radius bundles open-source components used internally to apply the corner-radius tweak. Each component is licensed under its own open-source licence, the full text of which is included with the app (see LICENSES.txt in the app bundle's Resources folder). Use of those components is governed by their respective licences, which take precedence over these Terms with respect to the components themselves.
14. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may terminate your licence without notice if you breach these Terms. On termination, you must uninstall Liquid Radius from every Mac it is installed on. Sections that by their nature survive termination continue to apply, including disclaimers of warranties (section 10), limitation of liability (section 11), force majeure (section 12), intellectual property (section 15), trademark notices (section 16), governing law (section 17), and severability (section 18).
15. Intellectual property
Liquid Radius, the Liquid Radius name, the Liquid Radius mark, and all associated software, designs, and content (excluding bundled open-source components governed by section 10) are the property of the developer of Liquid Radius. Your purchase grants you a licence to use the software, not ownership of any code, design, or intellectual property.
16. Trademark notices
Liquid Radius is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.
macOS, Mac, Apple silicon, and the Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the United States and other countries. Any reference to those terms or to Apple products on the Liquid Radius website, in the app, or in associated materials is nominative use only. It identifies the platform Liquid Radius runs on or describes the visual style Liquid Radius works alongside, and is not intended to suggest sponsorship or endorsement.
Other product names, brand names, or trademarks referenced are the property of their respective owners.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, except that consumers in other jurisdictions retain the benefit of any mandatory protections under their local law.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
19. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your licence to anyone else without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our business assets, on notice to you.
20. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding Liquid Radius and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of Liquid Radius after a material change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a material change, stop using Liquid Radius and request a refund (if you are within the 14-day window) or uninstall the app.
